Harvey, Hampton University’s President with the purpose of developing leaders who make a positive difference in society, whatever their chosen profession. He envisioned a program, “emphasizing integrity, honesty, respect for others, decency, dignity and responsibility.” The objective is achieved through the use of Dr. Harvey’s Ten Step Leadership Model. WHAT: The WRHLI is an undergraduate program that enhances the regular university experience through an intensive, interactive curriculum comprised of 18 credit hours and a 400-hour service learning internship. Upon completion, students graduate with a minor in Leadership Studies. GOAL: To prepare exceptional students for leadership roles in their professions and in their communities.
